Some experiences stay with you as a feeling before you find the words for them.

Moonshots Live was one of those experiences for me.

What has stayed with me is the atmosphere…the sense of possibility that comes from being around people willing to take the future seriously, and willing to imagine that we might have a meaningful hand in shaping it.

I felt hopeful there.

And I want to give that feeling its own space in this log.

It is easy to spend so much time studying what is changing that we lose touch with what we hope those changes will make possible. We follow the technology, track the breakthroughs, try to keep up. But underneath all of that is a more human question:

What kind of life are we trying to create together?

For me, that question is where the excitement becomes meaningful.

More time with the people we love. More opportunities for someone whose circumstances have narrowed their choices. More room to learn, heal, create, and contribute. Technology that helps us become more present in our lives, not simply more productive within them.

That is the future I want to help build.

Being at Moonshots Live brought me back into contact with the joy of that possibility. There is something valuable about sharing an atmosphere of optimism. An idea you have been carrying privately can begin to feel a little less distant. You remember that other people are looking toward the horizon too.

I spend a lot of my time building. Much of that work is quiet, imperfect, and slow in ways that never appear in a finished announcement. An experience like this gives something back to that daily practice. It reminds me why I am willing to keep showing up.

The feeling finds a home in “Tomorrow Comes Alive.”

Music gives me a way to express what a project plan cannot. It can carry the excitement, the human longing, the feeling of reaching toward something that matters before we know exactly how to get there.

When I think about the song alongside my experience at Moonshots Live, that is the connection I feel: a future that becomes more tangible when we begin participating in it.

I do not need certainty about everything ahead to feel grateful for that.

I came away encouraged. I want to carry that encouragement into the things I make, the relationships I nurture, and the way I meet the work in front of me.

For anyone who was there, perhaps this song will bring a little of that atmosphere back. For anyone who wasn’t, I hope it offers a little of the possibility I felt.

There is a great deal still to learn and build.

I’m glad to be here for it.
